Doctor Robert “Bob” Fietsam graduated with high honors and high distinction from the University of Michigan, (BS Chem). After four years of working at the General Motors Technical Center as a chemist, he had a career change and went to Medical School. After 13 years of school and residency, Dr. Fietsam obtained dual board certification in General Surgery and Thoracic surgery. He started practicing Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery, as an assistant consulting professor of Surgery with Duke University in North Carolina. After another 16 years, and another career change, Dr. Fietsam went back to his first love, Chemistry. This time in the form of how chemicals and also hormones, interact with the body.
Dr. Fietsam is a member of the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine (A4M) physicians, and additionally certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. At Envizion Medical, he uses the same surgical precision for Hormone Replacement Therapy as he did in the operating room. Doctor Robert “Rob” Carlson received his BS degree cum laude from Valparaiso University, double majoring in Chemistry and Biology, and then attended Wright State School of Medicine for his MD degree, graduating in the top 15%. After participating in cardiovascular research at Harvard University, Dr. Carlson was widely published in innovative health topics during his medical and surgical training. Years later, at the University of Florida, Dr. Carlson was the recipient of several research awards including the coveted “Woodward Surgical Award” (top surgical resident) while completing his post graduate training. He has also been cited as a medical expert in the Suzanne Somers books on health and nutrition, “Ageless: The Naked Truth About Bioidentical Hormones”, “Breakthroughs: Eight Steps to Wellness” and “Knockout: Doctors Who Are Curing Cancer And How to Prevent Getting It in the First Place”. An avid runner, Dr. Carlson is a three-time Ironman and has competed in over 20 marathons.
Steven Behmke, APRN is a certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). He received his first Bachelor’s in Psychology at Rutgers University in NJ and his second Bachelor’s in Nursing at Florida State University in Tallahassee. After pursuing an advanced practice degree, he received his Master of Science (MS) in Nursing at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Steve is a military veteran, serving 11 years total with the first half of his enlistment in military intelligence and the second half as a combat medic. Serving as a military medic is what introduced Steve to the medical field where he developed a strong passion for medicine and helping others. Having witnessed various members of his family when he was younger struggle with chronic diseases and shortened lifespans, Steve developed a deep interest in anti-aging and disease prevention. Although Steve’s schooling and experience in medicine was focused more in general Primary Care, he received intense specialized training by renowned anti-aging physician, Dr. Rob Carlson, in hormone replacement therapy, thyroid management, and medical weight loss. Dr. Carlson was recommended by Suzanne Somers in her book “Ageless” as one of two hormone experts in the state of Florida. Steve is a member of the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine (A4M).
